Rochdale Sleep Out Returns to the Crown Oil Arena on the 9th October 2026

Last year, hundreds of supporters from across Rochdale came together to take part in the first Rochdale Sleep Out, raising an incredible £7,875.52 for Rochdale AFC Community Trust and Petrus.

That single night of fundraising has already made a real difference.

The funds helped launch Changing Lives, a partnership that is supporting people experiencing homelessness and those living in supported accommodation through football, wellbeing, education and employability opportunities.

Participants are now rebuilding confidence, making new friendships, developing new skills and becoming active members of their community.

Now we’re asking Rochdale to do it again.

This year, we’re inviting individuals, families, businesses, schools and community groups to spend one night under the floodlights at the Crown Oil Arena.

The Sleep Out isn’t about pretending to experience homelessness.

It’s about standing alongside those who do.

Every pound raised will help continue Changing Lives, giving more people access to support, opportunities and hope.

Whether you’re taking part on your own, with friends, as a workplace team or as a football club, every participant will play their part in changing lives across Rochdale.

Together we proved one night can make a difference.
