WHO WE ARE

We are Rochdale AFC Community Trust, an official charity (registration number 1121850) set up by Rochdale AFC to carry out community work and charitable projects across the borough of Rochdale.

We share the vision of making Rochdale one of the best places in the world to live, work and play– a place where ALL voices are heard.

We use the power of football and our community standing to raise aspirations and  transform lives.

Our key areas of work are:

Community Sport

Football hasn’t gone away and will always be our beating heart –
we love our connection with Rochdale AFC. We will provide opportunities for people of all ages to participate in sport and put inplace pathways that will  raise aspiration and help them achieve.

Education & Employability

We know that our alternative approach in this area and our inspiring facilities can have a positive impact and we are committed to supporting people of all ages to develop new skills, confidence and help them to raise and fulfil their ambitions.

Health & Inclusion

We are proud of Rochdale and the skills, energy and passion of everyone who lives here. We understand the positive role that we can play in our community and want to do more to bring people of all ages together and improve cultural awareness and understanding. We will provide leadership, direction and new opportunities that provide positive alternatives to drugs and crime and help to develop a shared civic pride in all that is good about Rochdale.

We use the power of football
and our community to raise
aspirations and transform lives

We are passionate about getting people of all ages and backgrounds to be more active and to educate them how to look after their bodies and minds so that positive behaviour changes can be sustained. We are committed to providing extra support and specific interventions for those who are struggling and need extra help.
