Graduate Spotlight | Kyle Morely
5th August 2026
From Rochdale to New York!
We’re delighted to catch up with Kyle Morely, a proud Rochdale AFC Sports College Class of 2025 graduate, who has spent the last year studying and playing football in the USA on scholarship with the New York Bobcats.
Reflecting on his time with Rochdale AFC Sports College, Kyle said:
“I had a really positive two years at Rochdale AFC Sports College. Playing football at a competitive level for two years really helped me make the step up to an American Scholarship. The teachers and staff were brilliant in providing a pathway from college to America, and I’m really grateful for all of their support.”
Kyle has embraced life in the United States, describing the past year as “a really exciting venture” both on and off the pitch. With another season ahead, he’s now looking forward to returning to the States in the middle of August to begin his second year.
Everyone at Rochdale AFC Sports College is incredibly proud of Kyle and everything he has achieved so far. We wish him the very best as he continues his journey in America and can’t wait to see what Year 2 has in store!
